Fun, Easy and Frugal Recipe: Steak Fries

I love restaurant quality fries. I have been intimidated to make fries at home for some time now. Honestly I don’t know why.

But with a simpler diet comes simpler foods. And steak fries are actually quite simple.

What you will need:

2-3 large baking potatoes

Kosher salt

Olive oil

Preheat oven to 400 and half your potatoes.

Cut into strips. Then half those. You want your fries fairly thin.

Next add potatoes to a bowl and coat with 1-2 teaspoons olive oil.

Then sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper.

Next add a good amount of paprika. It should look something like this!

Now break out those dainty fingers and massage until every piece is covered well with all the spices!

I use my silicone baking mats and lay fries out individually on baking sheets.

Cook 30 minutes.

Remove and flip. Cook an additional 15 minutes.

Final step-eat as many as you can between cooking completion and family fry awareness😉.

As always friends be blessed and be a blessing.
